Code of Conduct

  • Carrying ID card is compulsory for all the students during their presence in the campus. Loss of Identity Card must be brought to the notice of the office immediately. Entry for the students who do not possess ID card is prohibited.
  • Students must follow the uniform code on Monday and Thursday and wear decent dresses on the rest of the days. Blazers/Coats are compulsory in winters. Wearing suits or trousers with decent tops will not be objectionable but half-pants, capris, sleeveless/short tops should be avoided.
  • Eatables are not allowed in academic area. Students are also not allowed to spread  litter here and there. There should be the proper use of dustbins.
  • Spoiling the college property in any form shall entail heavy penalty.
  • Using Mobile Phones in the academic area is strictly prohibited.
  • Visiting the information centre daily and reading all the notices is important for the students.
  • Students should park their vehicles properly and sitting on the parked vehicles is not allowed.
  • The students should be aware of the library rules before availing library facility.
  • RAGGING IS PUNISHABLE BY LAW. It is strictly prohibited.
  • It is advisable to switch off the fans and lights before leaving the classroom.
  • Strict action shall be taken against the students lacking regularity and punctuality in Classes.
  • Carrying heavy cash and jewellery is prohibited in the campus.
  • Plucking flowers in the campus is prohibited.
  • Strict disciplinary action should be taken on any student found violating the rules and regulations of the college.
  • Absentee fine shall be charged as per College norms.

Guidelines for Parents and Students

  • Attendance in the Mid-Semester Tests (MSTs) conducted by the College is compulsory.
  • The internal assessment marks shall be based on (i) performance in the MSTs, (ii) Attendance in theory as well as practical classes (iii) assignments/ project work (iv) Class behavior of the students.
  • Students appearing for any special or remedial exam shall be charged remedial examination fees as applicable.
  • Students are required to fulfill the following eligibility conditions for appearing in the final examinations of the PTU
  • A minimum of 75% attendance in practical and theory lectures in every subject.
  • Clearance of all the college dues.
  • The parents are advised to get a regular feedback of the progress of their ward from the concerned departments.
  • Anti Raging affidavit (Duly signed by oath commissioner) both from the parents as well as student who seeking admissions any discipline is to be submitted along with the admission form.


  • Office Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
  • Visitors may see the Principal from 1.00 to 2.00 p.m.


  • Students are advised to be regular and punctual in their classes and must refrain from absenteeism. If absolutely necessary they can avail a pre-sanctioned leave.
  • Leave application (printed form available) should state clearly the nature and resion of leave and be signed by parents / guardians or by hostel superintendent, In  case of a boarder.
  • The HOD of the concerned department has the authority to sanction the leave up to 5 days and any leave for more than 5 days must be sanctioned by the Director/principal.
  • It is the duty of parents to inform the HOD in case of any long illness/mishap of their ward. Medical leave may be granted on production of a genuine medical certificate.
  • Student failing to fulfill the minimum required attendance criterion shall be penalize as per norms.
College Library

A fully equipped library having more than 7000 books is available for the benefit of the students. The college also offers digital/e-library facility, wherein a student can avail softcopies of books and journals of his/her choice.


  • Silence must be observed strictly in the library.
  • A maximum of two books can be issued to graduates and four to post graduates level students.
  • Failure to return book on time would lead to penalty as per rule.
  • In case of loss of a book, the student/teacher will have to either replace the book or deposit its cost price along with processing fee.
  • For any kind of library assistance, consult the library staff.
  • Maintenance of library equipments like chairs/table or news paper is the responsibility of the user. In case of any damage, he or she will be penalized accordingly.
